Do you know EPOH? It's a puzzling name.
It's behind many locked doors, but the key is the same.
EPOH is everywhere, yet so hard to find,
The large silver key lies deep in your mind.
And sometimes it's hard, if you can't find this place,
So you keep screaming EPOH and search for it's face!
And when you feel like you're losing, and the roads end is near,
EPOH is close, though you're living in fear.
But as lost as you feel and far as you've gone,
You feel like you're spinning, and something feels wrong,
One day, the fog lifts, with the help of your friends,
And help from your family, they help clear your lens,
And EPOH appears with a sparkle of light,
Igniting your trust, bringing you out of the night.
The key in your heart shakes with reveal of great scope,
The secret of EPOH, that all know as HOPE.
EPOH was there, in your mind, in your heart,
And for all who go through this, it's the difficult part.
But with hope finally revealed, the release has been turned
Toward a brand new road and a lesson well learned.

  Overcome   I take a sip, it’s smooth, it’s warm Then the window steals my thoughts Completely lost in the wretched storm The songbirds have been caught   Though not surprised, my cup in hand Shaking like torrential breeze Like strokes of lightening upon the land Illuminating ease   I spill a little, stain my sleeve of white Burning thoughts into my skin The sun no longer, clouds dark as night The rain begins to win   I close my eyes, to ten, inhale Then presence takes its place The air smells sweet, no longer stale Calm thoughts in my headspace   The heavy rain like music sings I sit back now mollified The storms exist as little things Answers come from deep inside   And so, I drink my cup of tea Songbirds are now released Each moment like leaves upon a tree Blusterous, and then find peace
